Konto und Daten löschen.

Du kannst dein Surio-Konto jederzeit löschen – direkt in der App oder über das Formular auf dieser Seite. Mit dem Konto werden auch die zugehörigen Daten gelöscht. Du brauchst dafür weder die App installiert zu haben noch dich hier anzumelden.

Zwei Wege zur Löschung

Wähle den Weg, der für dich passt. Beide führen zur vollständigen Löschung deines Kontos und der damit verbundenen Daten.

Nutze dieses Formular, wenn du die App bereits deinstalliert hast oder keinen Zugriff mehr auf dein Konto hast. Bitte verwende möglichst die E-Mail-Adresse, mit der dein Surio-Konto registriert ist – so können wir es eindeutig zuordnen.

Wir verwenden deine Angaben ausschließlich, um deine Löschanfrage zu bearbeiten und dir die Löschung zu bestätigen.

Was gelöscht wird – und was wir aufbewahren müssen

Mit der Löschung deines Kontos entfernen wir die personenbezogenen Daten, die wir zu deinem Konto gespeichert haben. In wenigen Fällen sind wir gesetzlich verpflichtet, bestimmte Daten befristet weiter aufzubewahren.

Von dir hochgeladene Inhalte wie Fotos, Orte und Beschreibungen

Standortbezogene Daten, die deinem Konto zugeordnet sind
Geräte- und Nutzungsdaten, die mit deinem Konto verknüpft sind
Deine Kommunikation mit unserem Support

Diese Daten bleiben befristet gespeichert

Rechnungs- und Zahlungsbelege: Aufbewahrung für bis zu 10 Jahre aufgrund handels- und steuerrechtlicher Pflichten (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB).
Daten zur Abwehr von Missbrauch, Betrug und Sperrumgehungen: nur so lange, wie es dafür erforderlich ist.
Anonymisierte oder aggregierte Daten, die keinen Rückschluss mehr auf dich zulassen – diese gelten nicht mehr als personenbezogen.

Wichtig bei laufenden Abos Ein über Google Play abgeschlossenes Abo endet nicht automatisch mit der Kontolöschung. Bitte kündige es zusätzlich im Google Play Store unter „Zahlungen und Abos“ → „Abos“. Wenn du dabei Hilfe brauchst, schreib uns über das Formular oben – wir unterstützen dich.

Ablauf und Fristen

Nach Eingang deiner Anfrage bestätigen wir dir den Erhalt per E-Mail an die angegebene Adresse. Zur Sicherheit prüfen wir, ob die Anfrage tatsächlich vom Kontoinhaber stammt; dafür fragen wir gegebenenfalls einmalig nach. Die Löschung erfolgt spätestens innerhalb von 30 Tagen nach Eingang der Anfrage. Anschließend erhältst du eine Löschbestätigung. You can delete your Surio account at any time – directly in the app or through the form on this page. Deleting your account also deletes the data associated with it. You do not need to have the app installed, and you do not need to sign in here.

Two ways to delete

Pick whichever works for you. Both lead to the complete deletion of your account and the data associated with it.

Option 1 · In the app

Delete directly in Surio

The fastest route if you still have the app installed and can sign in.

Open Surio and sign in
Tap Profile in the bottom right
Open Settings
Select Delete account and confirm Your account and its associated data are deleted within 30 days. After that, the deletion is irreversible.

Option 2 · On this page

Request deletion here

Use this form if you have already uninstalled the app or can no longer access your account. Please use the email address your Surio account is registered with, so we can identify it without further questions.

What gets deleted – and what we must retain

When your account is deleted, we remove the personal data stored with it. In a few cases we are legally required to retain certain records for a limited period.

Your credentials and profile (name, username, email address, profile picture)
Content you uploaded, such as photos, places and descriptions
Your comments, ratings and reactions
Saved places, favourites and lists
Location data associated with your account
Device and usage data linked to your account
Your correspondence with our support team

Data retained for a limited time

Invoices and payment records: retained for up to 10 years due to German commercial and tax law obligations (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB).
Data needed to prevent abuse, fraud and ban evasion: only for as long as necessary for that purpose.
Anonymised or aggregated data that can no longer be traced back to you – this is no longer personal data.

Important if you have an active subscription A subscription purchased through Google Play does not end automatically when your account is deleted. Please also cancel it in the Google Play Store under “Payments and subscriptions” → “Subscriptions”. If you need help with this, contact us using the form above.

Process and timeframes

After we receive your request, we confirm receipt by email to the address you provided. For security reasons we verify that the request actually comes from the account holder, and may ask you once for confirmation. Deletion takes place no later than 30 days after your request is received. You will then receive a confirmation that your account has been deleted.
